The tally of my professional work as a key-creative, technician or assistant includes:

These works have garnered dozens of industry awards and nominations.
After four outline drafts and three treatment drafts, I am advancing to writing the screenplay for a story contrasting family expectations and self-determination. "Greater Sunrise" is a feature film anticipated for release in 2028.

Better Man (2025), dir. Michael Gracey
In 2022, I worked on this mega-budget biopic of Robbie Williams as a production assistant.
Aspects of the role were diverse, from arranging location catering to sourcing equipment for the filming units, such as camera lenses and audio gear.
An interesting insight into the world of 9-figure film productions.
ABC-TV (current)
As of March 2022, I have been an Audio Technician at the Southbank studios.
I predominantly work on Q+A, the ABC's flagship live broadcast show. It's thrilling on every occasion, with a rotating panel of politicians, artists, scientists, advocates and business leaders responding to questions posed by the audience.
I've also worked on Hard Quiz, Artworks, Insiders, Classic 100 and Countdown.
So far, I have participated in 39 episodes of nationally broadcast television.
Allira (2022), dir. Tyeli Hannah
This is my first narrative film as a key-creative, primarily as its Producer.
Tyeli and I realised this project with a budget of about $17,000. Filming occurred at inner-city locations and sound stages of Melbourne, including VCA, which provided all the film equipment and the surety of in-house facilities. And if not for the cast and crew being volunteers, the cost in a professional setting would've been six figures.
Pre-production spanned 50 weeks - unusually long for a short film - though we had endured several lockdowns in our fair city. It actually worked in our favour, ensuring we had plenty of time for the schedule to run smoothly. As a testament, every shooting day ran on time or under.

The Saturday Night Dress (2022), dir. Mairi Cameron and Stephen Lance
Amongst a cast and crew of 40+ seasoned practitioners, I was part of the 3-person Production Management team for this "Proof-of-Concept" narrative short. The costume department was a sight to behold, and I was tasked with transporting the dozens of pre-war and post-war gowns for the weeklong shoot.
I can't say much at this time, though this was my first insight into what makes a major Australian feature film.
Graduation (2021), dir. Ollie Wicks
I was Location Sound Recordist for this VCA Masters student film, which also offered me the opportunity to guide the lead actress in composing a piano piece on-the-fly.
Ollie stars in his own film, shot between lockdowns in Melbourne.
Starlings of the Hyperreal (2021), dir. Harrison Leech
I catered 324 meals over 6 days, on a ludicrously tight budget of $1200.
To accomplish this, I had to work around 100 hours in a fortnight (including the week leading up to filming). And this was only possible if I volunteered my labour, which is a condition of all VCA film productions.
Harrison has created a stark futuristic dystopia, with a startling production aesthetic.

What a glorious project to undertake! These five gentleman are the cream of Australian rock music, which made my job ever more enjoyable and easy.
