SHOGUN STUDIOS is 20 years old!

The first record from the studio was released a week prior to its inception,

so I rushed to make the enterprise official. And this month of 2025 sees the release of the 20th album I worked on. You may not see much more music from me in the next few years, as my feature film advances through the long and arduous process of development.

2024.11.06

I'm setting aside social media for a while, along with my musical career,

to focus on the screenplay and pre-production for Greater Sunrise.

I've worked on multiple drafts of the outline and treatment with assistance from Jacob Head, a young writer and cyber-security worker, who also happens to be the son of a longtime friend.

Now I'm trying to court a Melbourne screenwriter. Development runs a much slower pace than in the music industry - something I must adapt to.
